A2A Protocol from Google

A2A is a new agent-to-agent protocol:

this protocol will be critical to support multi-agent communication by giving your agents a common language – irrespective of the framework or vendor they are built on.

The protocol sets out a framework for inter-agent communication. It means the chat bot or whatever system you talk to can go out and talk to other agents (and they in turn to others) in a systematic and predictable way. It's a big problem, so if this works well, it will have a big impact on the GenAI ecosystem.
