The machine is smarter

I was coding with Cursor the other day. I had been working on a complex database schema migration, and when I asked if the git diff made sense, the agent (in YOLO mode) confirmed it was right and then said:

Let me help you commit it:

and proceeded to commit all the changes.

I got frustrated because I just wanted an opinion on the diff, not a commit. I started going back to make some changes and accidentally deleted a bunch of files.

It turns out the commit was the right call. I was wrong, and the agent had just saved me from having to redo all the work again.

The machine is smarter.
