The slow discovery of AI
What is most surprising about this Reddit post is how surprised the author is at the capabilities of the LLM.
For the first time in my experience with AI, I'm genuinely impressed. This wasn't just a party trick - it was a practical solution that saved me hours of work.
Generative AI has turned an already large knowledge gap between technologists and everyone else into a huge gulf between people who find ways to use LLMs to their advantage, and those that don't even have a clue.
The flip side is that those that acquire a clue or two are better placed than ever to turn their solution into a product.
